A graduate of the "Conservatoire libre du cinéma français", she has produced films for directors such as Danièle Thompson, Bertrand Blier, and Jacques Fieschi. In 2004, she founded the production company Thelma Films. She served as head of Cinévalse and as an executive producer for Sara Films (Alain Sarde's first company), and subsequently for Les Films Alain Sarde (which was sold to StudioCanal in 2004). Christine Gozlan has collaborated on over 200 feature films with numerous directors, including Jean-Luc Godard, Bertrand Tavernier, Claude Sautet, Roman Polanski, Nicole Garcia, Danièle Thompson, Coline Serreau, Jacques Doillon, Alain Corneau, Bertrand Blier, and Christine Carrière—or, more recently, Amos Kollek, Mike Leigh, and Emir Kusturica. She is the daughter of Roger Gozlan, a Knight of the Legion of Honour, and Suzanne Gozlan (née Guichard), an Officer of the Order of Academic Palms. Since 2019, she has served as a correspondent for the *Académie des beaux-arts* (Academy of Fine Arts)—part of the "Institut de France"—within Section VII, dedicated to "artistic creation in cinema and audiovisual media."
