Season 1
Season 1 of Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears (1985) introduced a world where the legendary Gummi Bears—long thought to be myths by humans—are rediscovered by a young boy named Cavin. The season focuses on the bears coming out of hiding to protect their home, Gummi Glen, while rediscovering their lost heritage through the Great Book of Gummi.
Season 2
Season 2 of Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears (1986) continues the journey of the six Gummi Bears as they move from simply surviving in hiding to actively searching for the "Great Gummis"—the ancestors who fled across the sea centuries ago. While Season 1 was about discovery, Season 2 is about expansion, introducing new Gummi allies and ancient technology that hint at a much larger world.
Season 3
Season 3 of Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears (1987) is notable for introducing a major new antagonist and deepening the lore surrounding the Gummi Medallions. In this season, the Gummi Bears of Gummi Glen find themselves frequently defending Dunwyn from both magical and political threats.
Season 4
Season 4 of Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears (1988) is widely considered the show's "expansion" season. It shifts the focus from the isolated life in Gummi Glen to a much larger world, introducing a new tribe of Gummis and the legendary city of Ursalia.
Season 5
Following the discovery of the city of Ursalia in Season 4, Season 5 focuses on the uneasy alliance between the peaceful Gummis of Gummi Glen and the warrior-like Barbic Gummis.
Season 6
Season 6 of Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears (1990–1991) is the final season of the series. It serves as a bridge between the Gummis’ secret past and a future where they might one day live openly again. The season is defined by more experimental stories and a two-part finale that brings a sense of closure to the conflict between the Gummis and Duke Igthorn.
