Apple TVA group of fun-loving American girls burst onto the scene in tightly corseted 1870s London, kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash. Sent to secure husbands and status, the buccaneers' hearts are set on much more than that.
Season 1
Encouraged by the whirlwind marriage of their friend Conchita to Lord Richard Marable, the American nouveau riche daughters of the St. George and Elmsworth families are sent to England to find husbands. Jinny St. George and Lizzy Elmsworth enter London society as debutantes.
Season 2
In the aftermath of their dramatic first season in London society, the young American women find their new lives in England growing more complicated. Nan adjusts to her role as a duchess while confronting unresolved feelings from her past. Jinny faces the consequences of her risky choices, and Conchita, Lizzy and Mabel navigate shifting fortunes, expectations and relationships. As pressures mount, each woman must decide what she truly wants from love, marriage and independence.
